Where Are You Going Today Lifeboat?
Description
A true to life story to introduce children to what lifeboats do. It forms part of the series of books which feature different vehicles and the specific jobs each one does. Beautifully illustrated by Richard O'Neill it captures how to call the lifeboat out when someone is in trouble, how it is launched and searches for someone at sea. A fascinating insight for children into what lifeboats do, especially those with a natural interest in vehicles.
This book is published in aid of Mundesley Independent Lifeboat Station. Since 1972 Mundesley Lifeboat has operated 365 days a year, saving lives on the beach and on the sea across their patch of the North Norfolk coast. Their crew consists wholly of volunteers, giving their time for free day and night, and risking their lives to help others. This truly is one of the best sides of humanity which we need to show to our children to inspire them about the world we live in.
All our books are designed, produced and printed in the UK using sustainable practices including FSC paper and vegetable inks.
